As a female founded brand, BELLA's mission is to celebrate our female trailblazers to empower and inspire you along your journey. That’s why we’ve started our Monday Muse series. Each Monday, to start your week on a high, we will highlight one woman who’s paving the way in their own field and in life. Here, they’ll answer questions on everything, from how they started out to challenges and highlights, plus beauty advice they think everyone should know, along with their favourite top trick. What's better is that you can ask them anything via the comment section below!

Tell us about yourself
I’m Mira Makeup and I’m an international makeup artist and hairstylist. I create content for brands and am a beauty and travel writer. I absolutely love skin and am a mama bear of two beautiful kiddos.
What are your best beauty hacks?
My top 3 beauty hacks would have to be:
1. Mix a clear balm with a scrape of your favorite lipstick colour for a perfect spring fresh glossy cheek
2. Add a couple drops of saline to a mascara that’s dying to revive it
3. Use a fine face spritz to change up a makeup look without having to take all your makeup off. Spritz, blend new foundation in and viola your ready to go!
What is your best beauty advice?
There are no rules, play with products and use them however you want to. Use eyes for lips, lips for eyes and cheek products for eyes or lips - be you!
What is your go to make up look?
I’m a big lover of no makeup makeup, I love creating a look that enhances all the natural features without looking caked on and finding the perfect products that work for your skin tone and type.
Less is more for me.
How do you find balance in life and work?
Finding a work / life / family balance is always a juggle but I try to prioritise my days with the important things, I go to the gym to clear my head and spend time with my kids to make me laugh and I’m trying to say no a little bit more now too, I try to see friends and family too which is great for the soul.
You have to be mindful of not feeling guilty and taking time for yourself and your mental health (which is not always easy!)
What has been the highlight of your journey?
Oh gosh there have been so many. I think one of my highlights might be seeing old work and how far I’ve come since then. We are always learning and we never stop and when that day comes that’s when we know we need a career change!
Another highlight was shooting with Sir Cliff Richard in his vineyards in Portugal!
How do you love yourself?
Loving yourself is a process in itself and once you find that love you will never stop! Loving myself means taking time out for me (which is rare!) being and enjoying time with my family, getting some headspace of my own, getting a facial or my nails done, keeping my body moving and fit and writing.
Once you love yourself, everyone else then can love you.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Smile and you might just make someone’s day.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My mum and dad, they are amazing and have taught me everything I know and have built me into who I am today! Always my biggest supporters in everything I do, I’m so grateful.
What is beauty to you?
Beauty to me is showing up exactly as your are, being imperfectly perfect and actually just being you.
What advice would you give to yourself if you were starting all over again?
Be a sponge, take everything in, learn as much as you can, and be kind Take every single opportunity that comes your way because life is too short
What’s something that people would be surprised to know about you?
When I was younger I wanted to be a children’s tv presenter! I have a reel somewhere and everything!
You can invite any 3 people to dinner, who has made the guest list and why?
Obviously I’d invite besties but as you're asking I’d love to have Sir David Attenborough who would bring the stories, Graham Norton who would bring the laughs and Beyoncé who would bring the tunes.
Whose face would you like to paint next?
If I could choose, I'd absolutely love to paint the face of Kaia Gerber or Lila Grace Moss - both absolutely beautiful!
